Mikkel Lykke Krarup, DVM
CSO, Regulatory Toxicology | Scantox Group
Mikkel is a veterinarian with more than 15 years of experience in the life sciences and over a decade in the contract research industry. As Chief Scientific Officer of Regulatory Toxicology at Scantox Group, he leads scientific strategy and study design for IND-enabling programs across a broad range of therapeutic areas. His expertise spans regulatory toxicology, translational science, and the operational complexities of outsourced drug development. Mikkel also serves on the Danish Animal Experiments Council, where he contributes to ethical oversight and scientific review as an appointed representative of Danish Industry.
Lars Siim Madsen, PhD
CSO | Ellegaard Göttingen Minipigs
Lars brings 25 years of experience from both the biotech industry and CROs. Lars holds a PhD in immunology and molecular biology. Lars's career includes a notable tenure at NeuroSearch from 2000 to 2013, where he held various leadership roles in development, research, project management, and board member. He then served as COO at BioAdvice for two years before joining AFYX Therapeutics in 2016. At AFYX, Lars held several C-level positions, most recently as CEO and CDO. As CSO at Ellegaard Göttingen Minipigs, Lars will focus on business development, external collaborations, and potential partnerships.
